The Maps

There are three scales of U.S.G.S. Topographic maps included. Scrolling seamlessly across quadrangles is possible. Changing map scales is done with a click of a button. There is a small "locator window" you can open and use to "click" on any line and center the map at that point.

In the "Print Versions" a print layout window allows you to print any of the three scales of maps. There are 6 default page layouts that determine the area printed. A Mileage scale and a magnetic declination symbol is included in the printout. On the 1:24,000 & 1:100,000 scale maps, mileage markers along the PCT are included on the printouts that correspond to the lines on the mileage tables. There is no map collar information included on the map printouts (UTM Grid labels or degree marks).
